Another standout characteristic of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode according to dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.

It has a variety of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop without requiring refilling it manually. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8, you can use voice commands to specify room cleaning modes and precise control with just your voice.

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking a hands-free robot vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features that also include mops but is priced at a cheaper price than the majority of competitors.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After this, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping effortlessly.

It's important to note that the mapping process could take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate picture of your room. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and required a flip to free itself. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one solution for cleaning.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. The autonomous vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can get to places robot vacuum cleaners best vacuums cannot.

This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suctthe system and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top vacuums/mowers that are available. It offers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the map coverage, set up no-go zones, and even customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination of them.

The docking station is a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station has an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust and allows seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.

This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office tidy. It also has the ability to reach all corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D map of your home so that it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop).

It has other great highlights, such as an automatic vacuum and mop emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops can't reach. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to save time. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money for the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It comes with a variety of features like self-emptying dustbins as well as the water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can navigate between furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up tangled rug tassels up and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we tried.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't do as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It also offers a range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It can even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller spaces. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but not as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
