For one thing, the classical seiten - the Kama Sutra and Aranga Ranga from India, Le jardin parfumé from Arabia or the El-Ktab from Turkey - have been revealed for the first time legally in Japan. The Japanese Wikipedia has no particular entry, however a category "seiten" specified as "textbooks about sexuality" (sei ni tsuite no kyokasho), with links to "Kama Sutra", "Aranga Ranga" and Van de Velde's "The proper Marriage". Gakken's Kokugo daijiten extra particularly defines seiten as "books explaining about sexuality" (sei ni kansuru koto o kaisetsu shita hon), and Iwanami's Kojien defines it as "books made for the purpose of offering sexual information" (seichishiki o ataeru tame ni tsukutta hon). From the serious academic to the sensationalist bawdy, the vary of those seiten books and articles was quite wonderful.

A reprint was printed after the conflict, in 1948. The writer Toseisha, however, cut up it into two components and printed them as Seiten kyoiku-hen (Sex Encyclopedia - Education) and Seiten byori-hen (Sex Encyclopedia - Pathology). Yuta and Shinobu each fall in love with Hagu, however Yuta hides his feelings and tries to be a buddy to Hagu whereas Shinobu expresses his love in ways in which appear only to scare Hagu, comparable to calling her "Mousey" and consistently photographing her. Akatsu translated a number of of Noguchi's books initially written in English into Japanese - e.g. his Serum analysis of syphilis (1911; jp. Shogakukan's Nihon kokugo daijiten loosely defines seiten as "books by which varied things are written about sexual matters" (sei no kotogara ni tsuite iroiro to kaite aru shomotsu), Shogakukan's Daijisen also generally defines it as "books written about sexuality" (sei ni tsuite kakarete iru shomotsu).

The 530-web page volume treats each doable aspect of sexuality in a sober and https://hanime.boo factual manner and lives as much as its title "Sex encyclopedia". The term seiten was first coined in the 1920s, when the new term sei gained ground and replaced older terms for sexuality resembling iro or shiki (see part 1).
