Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your house and organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping feature helps your robot mop navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features for my house, filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any automatic vacuum and mop robot we've test so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be washed and dried in the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just put it away and forget about it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tried.

This is a very complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's costly. The sheer amount of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combo. Its price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart control system andion you can buy but its high cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a want than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaner of choice.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has lots of features at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and automatic vacuum cleaner and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area mapped by this device or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've developed. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.

Like all Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic way. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

The most obvious flaw with this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's an easy solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up", at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
