Both the Q5 as well as the Q7 Max Series get very high scores on our tests on floors that are bare, and they're particularly adept at cleaning pet hair. They do have some flaws, however, that prevent them from being our top option. One of them is that the Q5's navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance which means it's susceptible to become entangled in socks and shoes and couldn't navigate tight spaces very efficiently in our tests. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaning device like Ecovacs' top-of-the-range X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It has a multifunction dock which automatically empty the vacuum's bin and fills up the water tank, as well as washes and dry mop pads.

It can also reach corners and under furniture better because its shape is more rectangular. It also has a powerful suction of 8,000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs for pet hair. You can also set up a spot cleaning that thoroughly cleans a particular area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a sleeker and more affordable alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It's more appealing, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras appear like cute eyes. It is excellent at vacuuming, but it is more likely to get caught in low thresholds. It is also louder than other top robot vacuums that we've examined. It also comes with an app that's not as intuitive and has a tiny base station that doesn't double as a bin to empty.
