Some come with rider boards for older siblings. However, not all of them are made equal. Some are sleek and easy to use, while others are bulky, heavy and difficult to fold and store.

It weighs close to 23 lbs and is also easy to fold, yet it still has all of the features parents require to enjoy a great time with two children.

UPPAbaby's Vista v2 double is another model that our test subjects loved. They especially liked its sleek design and user-friendly. It can fit two infant car seats, or a toddler's bassinet and seat without adapters. Its rear seat can be removed to make it into a quad or triple stroller. It has a large storage basket and can be upgraded to include a parent organizer with wheels for all-terrain and side storage bags.

Billingsley says that the best double stroller for a toddler is one that offers various options for customization. This includes a bassinet or seat that can be removed. Toddlers can be weak in endurance, and strollers that have an attached bassinet will give them a safe space for them to sleep. She suggests that a double stroller should also have a good harness system and recline positions, as well as plenty of storage room for toys and snacks.

The ZOE Twin+ is popular among parents due to its light weight and versatility.
