British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing joy with parents who are expecting" and has created pushchairs that are "functional and fashionable". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to accommodate two children side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both kids can be able to see the world around them.

The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most compact double stroller lightweight strollers for children available. It is suitable for use from birth and is compatible with Joie car seat or carrycots. It's easy to drive or ride, lift, and fold, and the clever frame expands widthways to accommodate the second seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were awed by how quickly and easily it is put together. They did note that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps than other models.

They also mention that the front seat can't fully recline, and they needed to utilize their hands to bring it to a comfortable position - something they'd prefer not to have to do when travelling with young children. The Orange is a great choice for parents who are fashion-conscious and have children or toddlers and need a buggy that will be able to adapt to them. It's a great option for parents expecting an additional child in the near future and want a double buggy side by side pushchair that's adaptable. The iCandy Orange is not cheap however it's a versatile product that it will last for several years and will have a good resale value too. It can also take buggy boards, which can help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!

Mountain Buggy Duet

Founded by an Australian, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand of prams to focus on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller can be easily maneuvered through narrow aisles for shopping and through doorways. It is one of the smallest, fully-featured double buggies in the market and has won many awards, including the 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.

The narrow seats are large enough for children of varying ages to sit together comfortably, and the seats are reclineable, so children can pick their preferred position. The large canopies feature solar visors that flip out and the storage basket is spacious with plenty of space. It is compatible with nearly all brands and can accept two car seat adapters for infants with the purchase of car seats.

The only issue is the weight. It weighs 32.4 lbs and may be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. It's priced higher than other double buggies. It is built to last, and has a lot of features for its price. It is a good choice for urban parents who want to avoid carrying a heavy stroller around. The padded harnesses, 5-point buckles and straps that are padded ensure that it is safe for infants.

Bugaboo Donkey twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a fashionable and functional design. It's a great product, but it's not without flaws.

It comes with very few amenities, both for children and parents. There's a small bin next to the seat that can only be used when the seat is connected and that's the only thing it offers. There are no parent trays cup holders, cups, or accessory pockets and this could be problematic for long journeys.

The seats aren't very flat, and the gap between the seats is quite large. Our 5-year-old had difficulty lying back comfortably. This is a shame since it's a premium model.

It's easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing up stairs and slopes. It's also slim enough to pass through most doors and folds easily for stress-free storage and transportation. It can also be converted back to mono mode with just three clicks should you ever need some more room or a quick getaway. The comfortable wheeled board is able to accommodate a third kid if needed. It is expensive though so when you're on a tight budget, there are other options out there. If you're a fan of the brand and are able to afford it, it's worth the cost.
