The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to look for. It's smaller than other models on this list, making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of the best navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It's got a battery of 4600mAh which can last up to 170 mins when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through a clean.

It's very fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single pass. Its 8,000pa motor is able to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the double side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by much. The mop rotates quickly and utilizes 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is useful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. Those same front arms can be employed to clean up larger debris, like broken toys or books.

Another good robot vacuum thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It doesn't create as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping, and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to set up and performs well however, this is something you'll need to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a wide range of features.

We also found that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up pet hair. It was able to collect many of the hair shed by our cats, and even got into the nooks and crannies of our stairs, where other robots have struggled. Its noise levels were fairly low and there were lovely jingles that inform you that it was starting and working towards its goal.

Its main drawbacks were its simple app and the need to change between the modules to switch between mopping and vacuuming. The app can't contain multiple maps, which can be a hassle for homes with multiple floors. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its massive dock that doubles as the robot's charging base and housing for two water tanks, a clean sink and a 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically empties.

The base has a few control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at finding objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni can sometimes get so entangled with an obstacle--such as the power cord that is draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and ceases to function until you free it. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert on its application.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the positive side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a big change from the utilitarian all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
