Lolita's Personality

They enjoy playing games, learning tricks and listening to music. They also enjoy playing in parks and playgrounds while hiking, and also visiting local bars and restaurants. They are not only a great pet but they are also a great pet for children.

The birds can be quite loud, despite their affection for their mate. They can also be a nuisance for those who live nearby. They can make ear-shattering calls and screeches, which can be annoying for those who live in condos or apartments.

Lolita's Care

Since the 1960s, activists have been pleading for Lolita to stop performing tricks in Miami Seaquarium. They also want her relocated to an open-water pen. However, she was never given the chance to go back to the sea.

The captors of Lolita, referred to as the Dolphin Company, have ignored the advice of a vet and continued to put her in danger. They cause harm to her health by forcing Lolita to perform for tourists. They overexert her with high-speed circle and head-first diving, expose her to chlorine and cause her to lose weight. In 2022, the new owner of Miami Seaquarium, who calls Lolita an aunt of theirs, vowed to come up with a plan with a group of Lolita supporters, known as Friends of Toki, and the Lummi Tribe, to transport her to eventually open water. Lolita's Diet
