World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will be able to gain 3% of its previous damage for each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into weapons, armor and trinkets to give them a stat boost or an extra effect. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot for them; the item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be inserted. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear that is ascended or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's used on (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of the equipment with less Upgrade Crystals than are required to achieve the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop, or by obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player can have a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of the item will be available in the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of how much they'll improve following a subsequent reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be costly and it is likely that the item will eventually become obsolete or even break when the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items to double or even eliminate the possibility of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, and include any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible up to 15 levels.

You will often find in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the Best item upgrade level requires a different amount of components to be reached and the costs for upgrading increase as the item is upgraded.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields some Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player improves a piece of equipment the original item will be replaced with a new item. This means that the same armor piece will get an weapon or shield once upgraded. The new item also has its own set of bonuses. This could be a disadvantage since the item may increase in price even if you do not need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens to do this. The item level upgrade will be replaced with the same item, but it has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be useful for certain items, but it shouldn't be repeated often, as it can use up lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times which increases their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides buffs when the player is repeatedly in or leaves the water. It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by a factor of 10. This item is very valuable in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of the non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to Upgrade items - https://telegra.ph/, allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets over ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapons will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an object, it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to revert back to its original state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonus it earned, including crit chance and attack damage, and all additional effects associated with the effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon receives a crit chance boost, the increase will be applied before any damage to attack increases. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the definition of the item and the value is computed each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a typical equipment item might have 5 upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items could have different upgrade requirements from standard gear. For instance they might require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. The player will need to carry every piece of equipment they wish to upgrade to the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the costs mentioned above.
