Most compact pushchairs were designed for toddlers and older children. However there are a growing number of them have an option to lie flat or the option of adding a carrycot (or car seat) to allow them to be used from the moment of birth. These Z fold buggies or concertinas are typically light with a weight of 6-8kg. They can also be approved for cabin use by a number of airlines. MFM Editor Gemma has used hers on many occasions and says it's extremely easy to use and take away.

It's an ideal option for frequent travellers particularly if you want to avoid the hassle of waiting at baggage collection and instead take your stroller with you on the plane.
