It didn't clean, however and its cleaning pads were a bit difficult to attach and could not deal with dried-on dirt.

Its app is a little on the basic side and lacks features such as multiple cleaning modes and automated vacuum scheduling. It does work with Alexa, but its voice controls aren't particularly clear or responsive. It's also a little erratic when it returns to the charging station following a run. Other robots can follow an obstruction or follow the previous route, but the RX3 is a mess until it gives up.

We also encountered issues with the smart features of the device, including its mapping feature and digital stay-out zones.
