The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you should choose if you want an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than other options, making it easier to maneuver in tight spaces or under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.

It's extremely fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single sweep. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to pick up dirt hair, pet hair, and even droppings easily. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by much. The rotating mop spins at a high velocity and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms extend out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to clean larger objects, such as broken toys or books.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It's easy to install and works well however this is something that you'll need to be aware of if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it a great choice for homeowners looking to purchase a highly effective, versatile, and customizable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor techbase station after finishing its cleaning task. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically empties the dustbin, refills its water tank to mop and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be the ideal option for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home clean without spending too much time doing chores. It's a top-performing device, smart navigation, and a long battery life that makes it easy to keep your home clean with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it is able to handle both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two modules that include a dry bin as well as a water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping unit that includes an elastomer pad. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming may appear a bit dated however, they mean that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the water tank.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature was its accurate map of your floorplan which it uses to draw the path to follow when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app also gives you the option to set 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers, which help to protect specific areas of your home from being swept with mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of picking up hair from pets. It was able to capture some of the hair our cats shed, and even got into some of the nooks and crannies of our stairs where other robots have struggled. The noise levels were low, and there were some lovely jingles that signal that it was beginning and finishing its work.

Its biggest drawbacks were its simplistic app and the requirement to change out the modules when switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app can't store multiple maps, which can be a hassle if you have a home that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good robot vacuum option for those who want a smart robot that can perform both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, however it has some unique features that make it worth a look. The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as the 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base comes with several control buttons that let you manually begin a cleaning task or recall the robot, or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise in finding objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni can sometimes get so entangled with an obstruction, such as the power cord that is draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. This is a rare event however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that the mopping pad isn't washed or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a big difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an excellent choice for the market that is dominated by boxes.
