It's smaller than the other options on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It's extremely quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one pass. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by a lot. The rotating mop spins at a high rate and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and stains. The base comes with a couple of buttons for control that let you manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock’s auto vacuum and mop-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents worried about their children playing with the best automatic vacuum cleaner.
