WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade items the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.
