This makes the i3+ a great option for those looking for a hands-off, fully automated cleaning experience, but aren't afraid of taking the time to empty their robot's trash bin as it gets full.

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from any surface, iicant improvement over previous Dysons which require a long charge and are difficult to store.

The biggest issue with the V10 is its short run time. The claims of its marketing that it can last up to 60 minutes of run time are a bit misleading, as CR's testing shows. This is an average not an extraordinary time to run the battery-powered cordless vacuum. This is enough time to sweep a typical-sized home, but not enough to reach every area. (A second time generally works). This model has its own advantages, however: it's lighter and more maneuverable than earlier Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is noticeably superior on low-pile floor carpet.

4. iRobot Roomba 694"

The 694 is a basic best robot cleaner vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have a lot of money to invest in a robot. It was able to remove all kinds of debris and sizes in our tests and would often go over the same area many times to ensure a thorough clean. Its flat front side helps it to reach into corners and along the edges of walls which is a nice addition.

Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate around your home, but it isn't equipped with the mapping capabilities of more advanced models like our top choices such as the i3+ EVO and the j7+ series. It can get stuck on phone cords or furniture and will often run out of power before returning to its original location.

The Xiaomi Mi best buy robot vacuum is superior in many ways to the Roomba 694 because it has less parts that require regular cleaning, is equipped with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, incurs lower recurring cost and has more advanced automation capabilities and is able to better maneuver itself. The eufy RoboVac X8 has a superior battery longevity than the Roomba 694. It also comes with physical boundaries and can be controlled with the voice assistant on your smartphone. It also feels more sturdy and has a more powerful motor, and performs notably better on floors that are bare and low-pile carpet, while providing a greater variety of features for automation.

5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+

Samsung is a household name in home electronics. It's no surprise that they are also among the top producers of robot vacuums and mop. Their Jet Bot AI+ is equipped with cutting-edge onboard tech for navigation and obstacle avoidance.

The app offers a wide range of options for customizing your robotic cleaner. These include mopping levels, virtual barriers and behavior customizations docking frequency settings, and more. The app is easy to learn and use as are other Samsung devices.

In our tests during our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and it removed 86 percent of dog hair (on carpet). It did not do well in avoiding taller items like cords or socks. This was disappointing. It's also a bit more expensive than some of the other models we've tested and could be a deterrent for certain shoppers.
