Item upgrading allows players to increase the gear score of an item level upgrade to 700, and then add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory before heading to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For example an excellently rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons don't change much after an upgrade and aren't worth it.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to increase their numeric stats like crit chance, attack damage as well as PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Additionally, many weapons have an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon is present on a unit. Upgrades to weapons will also change the stats of their base. While this is generally a good thing however, it could have negative consequences as well. Upgrades can render items impossible to use, unless you are very lucky.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to increase their effectiveness. This will increase the defense base of a chest or helm, while belts and gloves will increase their required strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it can sometimes reroll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will get when upgraded and their respective values. This means that an upgrade from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon receiving 33% attack damage. However the 3% does not mean that it will be hit for 3 fewer times because it's an absolute number.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by arrows that circle in the menu for items. This will reroll an item upgrader and alter its stats but not reset the weapon's levels, or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few armor upgrades can make all the difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE increases in poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, which can make traversing tough areas a breeze. Generally speaking, the more defense your character has, the more value you get from each point of health and it's crucial to upgrade your armor as much as you can.

To upgrade your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game, andyer with a temporary effect. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to increase their level of effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

For example splash potions now have an average duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display for item upgrading the Best item upgrader). The potion table is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, unlike Java Edition. The same is true for using a potion within a cauldron that is full. This will drain the potion and refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions, which are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. The table of potion ingredients is now arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as the potion of leaping, the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. However, a re-upgrade is likely to ruin the previous trinket in the event that it is not salvaged using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still less expensive than buying an entirely new trinket.
