WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item, however they'll always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them from NPCs of item upgrading upgraders for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool with the help of The button will show the preview of an item's next upgrade level in the event that there are enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the item slot and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for example. It is best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the top-quality equipment you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly applicable to trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character which will only be able to take advantage of the discount for all accounts when all slots are filled with high-quality gear.
