The democratic system in South Korea is vulnerable to populist impulses. It's still better than we had hoped for.

The country is looking for a new way of developing. A Confucian culture that emphasizes respect for ancestors as well as gendered family relations continues influence the way we live. There are signs of a secularist cultural trend emerging.

Origins

KACR started publishing a newsletter called CREATION. In it, the organization presented its own work and published articles about scientific evidence for the existence of God. It also translated several slides and film strips from ICR and also some books on creationism that were already published outside of Korea. One example of a KACR success story took place at the KAIST university in Seoul. There, enough students were interested in the idea of creationism that they raised enough money and support to construct an on-campus museum showing creationist models of fossils and other exhibits.

In addition to its activities, KACR has published a bimonthly magazine, CREATION. This magazine covers topics in the field of creation science. It also sponsored a series lectures by ICR staff. The evolution of South Korea

In the late 19th century and beginning of the 20th century, Korea moved toward a Westernised lifestyle.
