This means you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's pricey. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuum and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. Imake it more of a wish than a need.

It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself, making it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot and is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot vacuum cleaner best brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, Best robotic mop and vacuum as did most robots. It was quick to map the space and was able to navigate around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that this device maps or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its 'Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option, which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and dirt that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
