WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be visited at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current level of the equipment being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than buying new equipment from other sources. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that are used to upgrade weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They are purchased by players from item upgrades upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using a button, which displays an image of the item level upgrade when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item is upgraded to a certain level it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Best item upgrader upgraders can be found in a variety of locations including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade item coupon and a possibility of getting a new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. In Season 3 the upgrade system has been modified a bit, e system does introduce some modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece of equipment attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

Another notable change is that crests have one purpose therefore it's essential to make use of them in a responsible manner.
