WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you an increase in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers for instance.
