Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and robot vacuum and mop running. This involves setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot cleaner can begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It's important to note that mapping takes some time, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels that it had to flip over to free itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for a cleaning companion that does all of the above.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station comes with an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, allowing for seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean and can also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make a map of your home, so it knows where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and robot vacuum and mop obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop).

It also has some outstanding standout features, including the self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to reduce time. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but do not want to invest the extra money for Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance and touch-ups for messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good option. It has a wide range of features like a self-emptying dustbin, a separate water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't take care of the tangled tassels of rugs and it's battery drains faster than other models we tested in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a slick design. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however it performed very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and replace mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small spaces. It's very quiet and fast and is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and aren't connected to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as great at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bot's bottom, and then it drags them around the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
