Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad for an intense clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system that will raise the pad as it moves from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've test.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the price we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most powerful robotic hoovers vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it was able to perform well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all more an item to have than one that you actually need.

It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. When it turns the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

Like all Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect the dangers of carpets that are thick, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This machine has one major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session.
