What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item level upgrade upgrader adds a new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gameplay benefit aside from making it easier to view and buy upgrades.

There are a variety of enhancements that can be obtained with an upgrader. They can include stats and bonus bonuses. These bonuses can be applied to weapons, armor, and trinkets. The amount of extras you can get when upgrading depends on the number of upgrades performed. Each upgrade will increase the corresponding extras by a factor of one up to a maximum of 3. Each upgrade will also increase the stats of the main game by +1.

Some upgrades also provide an additional random boost in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts are important and should be considered when deciding which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are beneficial in certain builds (such as Whistan's shield in FB sorcs) while others could provide significant value to specific collectors.

Some items come with built-in boos which is less effective when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap has an extra slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to a near-perfect or perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades have some associated costs. The most significant cost is the upgrade itself. This cost can be expensive and is dependent on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it gets. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.

The other is the cost of the items required to upgrade. The items used are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and up) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests).
