A big reason we prefer the J9+ over other robotic vacuums is the mopping features that are automatic. If you enable the SmartScrub option in the app the J9+ will mop hard-to-clean debris and dirt that ordinary vacuums are unable to remove. It also can detect and move around areas that are wet, like coffee spilled and grime. However, despite its many automatic mopping features the j9+ does not clean its mop pads automatically like its rivals.

iRobot SwitchBot

The SwitchBot is a fantastic choice for those who are fans of robot vacuum cleaners, but prefer the flexibility and ease of mop. This tiny robot blends the most desirable features of both categories in an elegant device that seamlessly fits into your decor. It mops and vacuums well and easily navigates across various floors, and has strong suction to get rid of pet hair, dust, and dander.

It also detects and avoids objects that are likely to become stuck or crushed by the robot.

You can adjust the speed, direction, and power of the vacuum motor through the app's settings.

When the SwitchBot is in the mops mode, its bottom is fitted with a disposable wet smudge that you replace when it runs dry. The wipes are less costly and less wasteful than washable pads which are used by most robotic cleaner and mop mop. The wipes are tightly fitted, which prevents them from fall out like on other robot mop.
