Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an app that can save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, and how much water the mop is using.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are essential features to have in my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is the highest power of any vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad as it moves from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and returned to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've tested.

This is a highly complete and [Redirect-302] robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features make it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of tooking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet mess, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up is a mighty 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning which makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot vacuums best brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this can be rectified as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot cleaner that is available at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning robot mop and vacuum process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized way. The 'Normal" pathing setting covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.

The machine has a major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot vacuum with mop. There's an easy solution: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session. The auto vacuum and mop's mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice feature and can help the robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
