Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop offer the convenience of removing dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet mess (spills and stains) in one time without the need to change devices. They can also save storage space compared to having two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bins, refill their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads with an appropriate dock.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It has plenty to offer for its relatively affordable price, and it's among the easiest robots we've tested to install. Unpacking is simple, and the quick-start guide can get you up and running in no time. It comes with an entire dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The mops spin at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a variety of brushes and attachments and an intuitive app that lets you pick the type of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.

For instance, you can opt for the robot vacuums that mop to clean up the living and kitchen areas but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models are unable to. Its only drawback is that it tends to smash into walls and other objects at full speed. However, a quick glance at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading and what obstacles it's run into or avoided.

A handy LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance tasks must be completed like emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It's also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank by using a 600ml bottle filled with eufy's own solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long run time. The mop is able to run for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last 136 mins in normal mode, prior to needing to recharge or returning back to the base. And you can see the full cleaning details in the app, which is well laid out and easy to understand, though we would have liked to be able distinguish between a vacuum only or mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's top robot vacuum and mop. Unlike last year's model this one has an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pick up fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners might overlook.

Like the two other Roborock models I've tested, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which can help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by hlize and efficiently clean while saving time.

The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first one to provide 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum is able to clean up pet hair dust, crumbs and any other dry mess. It also comes with a high-quality mop that leaves floors sparkling clean, even without a wet pad. Additionally, the X40 is extremely quiet during it's operation, producing only occasional bursts of sound when switching between modes or performing self-maintenance tasks.

Another noteworthy feature is the X40's expandable and liftable side brush that allows it to reach hard-to-reach corners and intimately clean curved furniture like table and chairs' legs. It can also get under low-profile furnishings, making it an excellent choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that helps the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by excessive back-and-forth movements.

Unlike some other robots that solely focus on one task, the X40 can perform both vacuuming and mopping simultaneously or separately. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, or vice versa. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operation.

The app is user-friendly and user-friendly and the X40's clever features are simple to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, see mapping and floor plans and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and inform you when it's finished.

The X40 is easy-to-maintain and offers numerous convenient features, making it a perfect option for busy families. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads and refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It can also detect if the mop pad has reached its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation prior to it bursting.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive available however, it comes with a lot of additional features that distinguish it from. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that uses two high-speed mops to clean floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and robot Vacuum cleaner it has a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is significantly higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can vacuum up pet hair and robot vacuum cleaner smaller dirt particles as well as picking up spills and wet spots.

The mop is also cleaned and dried inside the base station after each use. This is a great feature because it stops mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we've yet to see on other robot vacuum with mop vacuums and mop models and it could be a useful way of keeping your home cleaner for longer.

There's a plethora of settings available, including the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust a variety of preferences. The app allows you to define these preferences, or you can utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and offers a variety of options for customizing your cleaning routine. It also comes with several functions that are not available on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on the market, sporting metallic and white colors that looks elegant and classy. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this list, but it's still not excessively heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. The mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors and in corners. They can even extend up to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
