The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model to choose if you want an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list which makes it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It uses a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best navigation and obstacle avoidance I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170 minutes when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery midway through an efficient.

It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor is quick at picking up dirt, droppings, and pet hair. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, is not as effective. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is helpful in difficult corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It doesn't create as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. It does however, have distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is most notable for its enormous dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and an 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base also has a number of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a great feature for Automatic Vacuum Cleaner parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni, like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally get caught up in an obstacle--such as the power cord that is draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. This is a rare event however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert in its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad, except that the mopping pad isn't washed or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot vacuum cleaner uk thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant change from the utilitarian all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market which is dominated by clunky boxy models.
