The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. We highly recommend this model when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. The premium price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning which makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums and mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.

The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides various options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've set up. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

Like all Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner.
