WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for the latter due to the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade item gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current level of the equipment being upgraded however, they will always be less expensive than buying new equipment from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgraders for a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will show a preview of the item when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the Item level Upgrade (Www.google.co.Ao) and the current level of the item and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade items costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.

Many locations have upgraders for their items in addition to the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and the chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases depending on the amount of items being upgraded, and can be increased by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.

In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no item upgrader available at the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that can be used to upgrade require various methods which is both an improvement but also a drawback.

In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade system. Once a player obtains an upgr for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it no longer requires Flightstones. This is to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one purpose therefore it's essential to use them properly. For instance, it's a good idea to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the top equipment you have, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan to create. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character which will only be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount when all of the slots are full of high-quality equipment.
