World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. They also increase bonuses such as PvE damage and crit chance.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will be able to gain 3% of its previous damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the current level of the item. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment with a slot for them. The item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level to allow a component to be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment as well as the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could be prefixed or a suffix changing the name of the item to which it is applied (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions using the smallest amount of upgrade crystals than they require to reach the same level using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can modify the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

The player can have up to five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade item; browse around here, increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their equipment even if they are unsure what will be improved after an update.

The process of upgrading an item level upgrade can be costly and it's possible that the item will become obsolete, or even break, in the event that the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also offer an additional bonus when reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board byhem, therefore it is Best item upgrade to place Glyphs in key locations on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example an Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage points, however, you may also want to think about placing them near crucial damage nodes too.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items lets players increase the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is also known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each item level requires a different amount of components to reach and the costs for upgrading increase as the item is advanced in level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or purchased from some NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrade the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades the equipment they have, the base item is replaced by a new item. This means that the same armor piece will get a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This can be a downside, as the item can be more expensive even if you do not require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can reroll item upgrades. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and completely different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, but it's not something that should be done regularly, as it could waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value, allowing players to customize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants a buff if the player continuously enters or leaves the water. It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the max roll by 10 points. This item is highly useful in PvP. A properly rolled version could be worth 50 times the value of its unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense, while upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Every each time you upgrade an item it has the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you go beyond the maximum number of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to return to its original condition which means that the player has to spend additional materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally the item will be deducted any bonus it earned, including crit chance and attack damage, as well as any additional effects associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player can still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded increases its crit chance, the increase will be applied before any damage to attack increases. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the item definition and the value is calculated every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items may require different upgrades than regular gear. For example, they may need less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. However, players must visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each equipment upgrade requires an individual amount of ingredients needed to upgrade.
