It's not like the model from last year this one has a double agitator in its mopping pad which significantly improves its carpet cleaning abilities. As with the two other Roborock models I've tested the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step furthebilities. Its smart design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while saving time.

The X40 is the first robotic cleaner and mop vacuum cleaner to deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the most effective options available. This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair, crumbs and other dry mess. It also has a high-quality mop that makes hard floors sparkling clean, even with a wet pad. In addition, the X40 is very quiet during operation, only producing occasional bursts of noise when switching modes or when completing self-maintenance tasks.

The X40 also comes with a side brush that can be lifted and extended. This allows it to reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture with curved edges like table and chair legs. It can also get under furniture with low profile which makes it a great option for smaller apartments or condos. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operation.
